Piehole Project Live! Fact Sheet

WHAT: Piehole Project Live! The Variety Show is an evening of great food and great fun for a great cause.  An extension of 2020’s Piehole Project auction of gourmet pies baked and donated by the area’s top chefs, The Variety Show is a one-night-only special event at which more than 15 Dallas chefs will prepare dinner for small groups of diners in their very own kitchen theaters. Between courses, entertainment acts including an aerialist, a magician and a belly dancer will perform on center stage. The event includes a pie auction which will start two weeks prior to the event and conclude that evening. 

WHO: Alison Matis and Cheryl Weis are the co-founders of FestEvents Group and FestEvents Foundation and the hosts and producers of this event. Piehole Project Live! The Variety Show will feature the following chefs:

WHY: Piehole Project Live! The Variety Show raises funds for the Chefs of Tomorrow Scholarship created by FestEvents Foundation, an organization dedicated to workforce sustainability and development in the restaurant and hospitality industry. To date, FestEvents Group and Foundation have raised more than $40,000 that has been donated to students seeking education at colleges including Dallas College, Collin College, The University of North Texas, Johnson & Wales, and more. FestEvents Group hopes to raise $25,000 at this event. 

WHEN: Piehole Project Live! The Variety Show takes place Thursday, October 28 from 7 to 10 p.m. The Piehole Project Pie Auction will start October 18th and conclude October 28th.

WHERE: Piehole Project Live! The Variety Show will take place at On The Levee, 1108 Quaker St. Dallas, Texas 75207. The Pie Auction will take place online at https://event.gives/php2021 Tickets can be purchased at https://pieholeprojectlive2021.eventbrite.com HOW: Much will this cost? Ticket prices range from $300 to $500, depending on which chef ticket buyers choose to prepare their dinner.  Table sales are available for $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000. Sponsorships are also available.  All sponsorship benefits outlined in the Table Sales and Sponsorship form.
